Project Manager/Toy Engineer
We are currently seeking a “superstar” Project Manager/Engineer. This candidate will be a high-energy leader with a BSME or BSEE and 4+ years of experience in product development.
Experience with toys, electronics products, or consumer products strongly preferred.
He/she will play a vital role on a cross-functional team (R&D, Operations, and Sales) to drive the performance, cost and schedule objectives of all new products.
Requirements
• Great communication, technical, and organizational skills. This candidate needs to manage multiple projects, budgets, deadlines and must have a proven ability to make great decisions while on the run.
• Qualified candidates will have a solid understanding of cost estimation, plastic part design, electronics, quality assurance, and OEM manufacturing methods.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Project. Understanding of 3DCAD packages (Solid Works or Pro-Engineer) a plus.
Responsibilities
• Project management, establish and track development schedules, communicate with OEM factories, suppliers, regarding progress and details of multiple projects.
• Determine product feasibility/cost and identify and minimize any technical/quality/cost risks and/or schedule delays for new and established product lines.
• Execute and/or supervise engineering design, create product specifications/turnover packages, review and approve tooling patterns and engineering models, perform and/or supervise debug of products from first shots to production release.
